This article explains how to set up a bitcoin auto-withdrawal on River, including where to find the setting and how the threshold applies.
To set up a bitcoin auto-withdrawal, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Click "Profile & Settings"
On river.com, click "Profile & Settings" in the bottom-left corner of your River homepage. If you are using the River app, first tap the profile icon in the upper-left corner of the homepage.
Step 2: Click "Automatic withdrawals"
On river.com, click "Wallet", and then click "Automatic withdrawals." If you are using the River app, scroll down on the home page to the "Protect your wealth" section and click "Take custody of your bitcoin with auto-withdrawals."
Step 3: Enter auto-withdrawal details
When you press "Get started" you will see a window where you can enter the details of your auto-withdrawal. Enter the balance you would like to automatically withdraw from River and click "Set balance threshold." Next, enter the destination address and click "Set withdrawal destination."
Step 4: Select withdrawal priority
Choose whether to only withdraw when free or to always withdraw when your balance is reached. Then, click "Continue."
Step 5: Review automatic withdrawals
You will need to complete the two-factor authentication by entering your verification code. Click "Submit" to complete your auto-withdrawal setup.
Step 6: Auto-withdrawal started
You have now successfully started a bitcoin auto-withdrawal.
Please note that your set threshold for your auto-withdrawal will only include settled bitcoin. Once bitcoin has passed through its holding period, it will be available for your auto-withdrawal.
