How do I change my ForceField limit?

This article explains how to change your ForceField limit. You can increase or decrease your ForceField limit at any time without deactivating first. Increases take effect after 5 days, and you will receive a daily notification leading up to the change. Decreases take effect immediately.

Step 1: Tap profile icon

If you are using river.com, click "Profile & Settings" in the lower-left corner on the homepage. If you are using the River app, first tap your profile icon in the upper-left corner.

Step 2: Navigate to the security section

If you are using river.com, scroll down to the "Security" section. If you are using the River app, tap "Security & Privacy."

Step 3: Tap "ForceField"

Select the active ForceField setting for your account.

Step 4: Tap into the ForceField menu

At the top of the ForceField screen, enter the top section to see how much bitcoin can be sent each week.

Step 5: Tap "Update ForceField limit"

At the bottom of the screen, tap "Update ForceField limit."

Step 6: Enter the new amount

Type in the new weekly ForceField limit you would like to apply. You can increase or decrease your ForceField limit. Increases take effect after 5 days, and you will receive a daily notification leading up to the change. Decreases take effect immediately.

Step 7: Review the update

Review the ForceField update you are applying to your account. When ready, tap "Update ForceField limit."
