Can I choose my BTC withdrawal fees?

River offers different tiers for withdrawing Bitcoin. You have the choice between "Priority", "Standard", and "Free".

Priority sends will be more expensive and quicker while standard sends will be cheaper and take a little bit longer to reach the destination. Free sends will not have a fee, and every client has 1 free send every month.

How are fees determined?

For standard and free Bitcoin withdrawals your withdrawal is batched with other withdrawals to save you money. The price you pay is based on our estimate of the Bitcoin network transaction fees that we expect to pay for your transaction.

How long will my withdrawal take to process?

Standard and free withdrawals are typically broadcast to the Bitcoin network within a few hours and are usually confirmed shortly after. However, this may take longer if the Bitcoin network is experiencing high traffic. We recommend that you use priority withdrawals for all urgent transactions. Priority withdrawals are typically included in the next block, which occurs roughly every 10 minutes.
