How do I edit a recurring buy or supercharged recurring buy?
For recurring buys, you are able to edit your payment method or recurring buy amount.
For supercharged recurring buys, you are able to edit your payment method, recurring buy amount, or your supercharged multiplier.
You can also supercharge your existing recurring buy or change your supercharged recurring buy to a regular recurring buy. For more information on how to do so, see this Help Center article.
If you instead wish to change the frequency or execution time of an existing recurring buy, you will need to cancel and start a new recurring buy. You can view or cancel an existing recurring buy by going to the "Activity & Orders" page or your "Account" tab if you're on the River app.
This guide explains how to edit an existing recurring buy or supercharged recurring buy.
Step 1: Click “Activity & Orders”
To start, click “Activity & Orders," found on the left side of your River homepage.
Step 2: Select the recurring or supercharged buy
At the top of the screen, you will see any active recurring buys and supercharged recurring buys. Click the buy you wish to edit.
Step 3: Click "Edit order"
Here, you can view the current details of your existing recurring buy or supercharged recurring buy. Click “Edit order” if you would like to make any changes.
Step 4: Update details
You can update your recurring buy amount, payment method, or both.
If your existing recurring buy is not already supercharged, you are able to supercharge it and select your supercharged amount.
If your existing recurring buy is supercharged, you are able to update your supercharged amount or turn your supercharged recurring buy into a regular recurring buy.
Please note the following details when editing an existing recurring buy or supercharged recurring buy:
You can only increase your recurring buy amount up to double your current amount or decrease it by half your current amount.
You can only change your amount once every 30 days. For scheduled recurring buys, you will be able to change your amount 30 days after the execution time of your first recurring buy.
Your payment method can be updated anytime.
Your supercharged recurring multiplier can be updated anytime.
You can turn your existing recurring buy into a supercharged recurring buy anytime. You can also disable supercharged buys on your existing recurring buy anytime. You can update the supercharge amount anytime too.
Step 5: Review changes
Review what’s changing, what happens next, and confirm your changes.
Step 6: Confirm changes
Click "Confirm changes" when you are satisfied with your selections.
Step 7: Recurring buy or supercharged recurring buy updated
Your recurring buy has been successfully updated and you should see these changes reflected on your “Activity & Orders” page.
