What are supercharged recurring buys?
Supercharged recurring buys are a type of recurring buy where you can automatically buy more bitcoin at the time of your recurring order during price dips.
There are no additional fees for supercharging your recurring buys. Fees only apply to recurring or supercharged recurring buys that execute in the first 7 days after setting up your order. For more information on recurring buy fees, please see this Help Center article.
At the time of your recurring buy, if the bitcoin price is at least approximately 1% lower than a moving average, then you will automatically buy your supercharged amount instead of your usual recurring buy amount. The moving average for each recurring order frequency is as follows:
Supercharged recurring buy frequency | Moving average |
Hourly | 7 days |
Daily | 7 days |
Weekly | 7 days |
1st & 15th | 14 days |
Bi-weekly | 14 days |
Monthly | 30 days |
You can choose your supercharge multiplier (25%, 50%, 100%, or 200%) for your recurring buy. For example, a $10 recurring buy with a 100% supercharge multiplier will buy $10 regularly. At the time of your recurring buy, if there is a price dip, you would buy $20 instead.
You can turn your recurring buy into a supercharged recurring buy anytime. You can also disable supercharged buys on your recurring buy anytime. You can update the supercharge multiplier anytime too.
