This article walks you through how to add the River bitcoin price widget to your iPhone or Android home screen, including how to choose a widget size.
Please note that you do not need a River account to have the River Price Widget on your phone.
Step 1: Click "Edit"
Press and hold on any app on your iPhone or Android home screen. On iPhone, click "Edit" in the upper-left corner of your homepage.
Step 2: Click "Add Widget"
On iPhone, click "Add Widget". On Android, click "Widgets."
Step 3: Scroll or search for River
If you already have the River app on your iPhone or Android device, scroll down to find the black River price widget. You can also search for "River."
Step 4: Choose widget option
Choose your widget size. You will have five widget options to choose from with varying sizes.
Step 5: Widget downloaded
Your selected River price widget will now populate on your iPhone or Android home screen.
If you already have Smash Buy set up, your River price widget will include your default Smash Buy amount in the buy button, letting you buy your preset amount of bitcoin directly from your home screen. For more information, please see this Help Center article.
