This article walks you through how to remove a linked bank account from your River account on both river.com and the River app.
Step 1: Open "Profile & Settings"
If you are using river.com, click "Profile & Settings" in the bottom-left corner of the homepage. If you are using the River app, tap your profile icon in the upper-left corner of the app.
Step 2: Open "Linked bank accounts"
Under the "Funding & Limits" section, click or tap "Linked bank accounts." If you are using the River app, tap "Banking & Funding," and then tap "Linked bank accounts."
Step 3: Select the bank account you'd like to remove
From the list of your linked bank accounts, click or tap the one you'd like to disconnect from River.
Step 4: Click "Remove bank account"
Scroll to the bottom of the bank account details and click or tap "Remove bank account."
Step 5: Confirm
In the "Remove bank account?" prompt, click or tap "Remove" to confirm. Once confirmed, the bank account will no longer appear in your "Linked bank accounts" list.
Please note that any active recurring buy orders using this bank account as the payment method will be canceled when you remove it.
