This article explains how to update your River account email, from verifying your current address to confirming the new one.
Please note that the steps outlined below will only apply if you still have access to the current email address on file with your River account. If you no longer have access to your email address, email Client Services at support@river.com for assistance in updating the email associated with your account.
Step 1: Click "Profile & Settings"
If you are using river.com, click "Profile & Settings" in the bottom-left corner of your River homepage. If you are using the River app, tap your profile icon in the upper-left corner of the homepage. Click 'Personal details' in the Account section.
Step 2: Locate current email
Locate your current email.
Step 3: Verify current email
You will be sent a verification email asking to confirm your current email address. Please follow the instructions in the sent email to proceed.
Step 4: Enter new email
The link in the email will redirect you to change the email address associated with your River account.
Step 5: Verify new email
Click "Confirm" in the email sent to the new email address to finalize changing your email. You will use the updated email to log into your account moving forward.
