Who can update the principal place of business address?
The authorized user on the business account can update their principal place of business address.
Where do I go to submit a principal place of business update?
- Log in to your River business account on river.com or your River app
- Go to Settings
- Select "Business details"
- Click your principal place of business address
- Enter the updated address and submit your request
How soon will my principal place of business address update take effect?
After submission, you will receive a confirmation email that your request has been received. The River team will review the update, and once approved, the new address will reflect in your account. The updated address will apply to future account statements and tax documents. Previously issued documents will not be updated. If no mailing address is on file, the principal place of business address will be used by default for statements and tax documents.
Are there any important limitations to know?
The principal place of business cannot be a P.O. Box, virtual address or located in an unsupported jurisdiction. Country changes must be handled by contacting Client Services. If you have questions about your request, please contact support@river.com.
